Full Stack Engineer (GoLang & Typescript a must have)
Location: Menlo Park, CA (3 days / week onsite)
Duration: 6+ Months Contract (Potential to extend after)

Description:

  • Identify areas where testing is required.
  • Collaborate with internal resources.
  • Support homegrown native technologies.
  • Understand testing principles (testing experience is helpful but not mandatory).

Experience Level:

  • Ideal range: 3 5 years of Software Engineering (SWE) experience. Not exceeding 5 years.
  • Higher preference for 2 3 years of experience with a master s degree in computer science.

Attributes:

  • Self-starter attitude.
  • Ability to review tests and write code.
  • Focus on areas where testing isn't established and build the required mindset.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and write test plans/test scenarios and test cases
  • Design and develop back-end software automation and engineering solutions
  • Develop modern and robust automation frameworks/libraries
  • Craft best practices with senior engineering leadership
  • Strong experience in the verification of automated tests
  • Python software experience, GoLang a must have,

Required skills:

  • 5+ years of hands-on software development in one of the languages below - GoLang
  • Knowledgeable with automated testing
  • Experience with Playwright
  • Holistic knowledge of functional and non-functional test methodologies, tools and frameworks
  • Experience with back-end and API related automation
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience in Agile methodologies.
